Clearing a Key File from a Component

If you no longer want a file to serve as the component’s key file, you can clear the key file from that component.

To clear the key file from a component:

1.

In the View List under Organization, click Setup Design (in installation projects only) or Components.

2.

In the explorer, expand the component and click Files.

3.

Right-click the key file and click Clear Key File.
