Adding Setup Types

Project: Setup types are available in the following project types:

•

InstallScript

•

InstallScript MSI

To create setup types for a Basic MSI project, use the feature’s Install Level setting.

To add a setup type:

1.

In the View List under Organization, click Setup Types.

2.

Right-click the Setup Types explorer and click Add. InstallShield adds a new setup type.

3.

Type a new name for the setup type.
