Adding References to Visual Studio Solutions

InstallShield 2024 Express Edition

Use the Files view to add Visual Studio references to your installation project.

To add a reference:

1.

In the Solution Explorer under Specify Application Data, double-click Files.

The Visual Studio Solution item in the Source computer’s folders pane contains subitems for all projects contained in the current solution. Click a project to display the output groups for the project. The output groups are displayed in the Source computer’s files pane.

3.

To add a reference to an output to your installation project, drag and drop the output to the target folder in the Destination computer’s folders pane.
