The Shortcuts panel lets you specify shortcuts to your application files. Although you are not required to create any shortcuts during installation, it is recommended that you create a shortcut to your main application executable file on the Start menu. This will make it easier for the end user to locate and start the application.
Adding Shortcuts
To add a shortcut:
| 1. | Click Add or right-click in the Shortcuts box and select Add. The Shortcut Properties dialog box opens. |
| 2. | Specify the settings for the shortcut that you are adding and then click OK. |
Modifying Shortcut Properties
To modify the properties of a shortcut, do one of the following:
| • | In the Shortcuts box, select the shortcut and click Properties. |
| • | Right-click the file and click Properties. |
The Shortcut Properties dialog box opens, enabling you to change any of the settings for the shortcut.
Removing Shortcuts
To remove a shortcut from the Shortcuts box, do one of the following:
| • | In the Shortcuts box, select the shortcut and click Remove. |
| • | Right-click the shortcut and click Remove. |
