Deleting a Bucket

Use the following steps to delete a bucket. When you delete a bucket, you delete all of its associated parts as well.

Important:You cannot delete a bucket that has a child bucket containing parts. When you attempt to delete such a bucket, the deletion fails.

Note:You can also use SBOM Insights REST API to delete a bucket. See SBOM Insights API for more information about working with the APIs.

To delete a bucket:

1.

Click Manage Buckets in the left navigation panel to open the Manage Bucket page.

From the list of buckets, locate the bucket you want to delete.

3.

Click the menu icon in the bucket’s Action column and select Delete.

A message in the top right corner of the page confirms that the bucket was successfully deleted or states that the deletion failed.
