About Device Attributes

The following attributes are used when searching for, claiming, and managing standalone and served devices. For server attributes, see About Server Attributes.

Attribute

Description

Device ID

The device’s unique identity.

Device Name

The device’s short, alternate name.

Device Host ID Type

One of several possible device host ID types. This is the complete list; only types that are permitted are displayed.

Last Modified

The last date that the device was changed, or had entitlements mapped or licenses removed. For served devices, the date is updated when a sync record is processed.

Model

The device’s model.

Notes

Additional information about the device.

Account

The current holder of the device (typically, a customer account).

Series

The device’s series.

Site name

The device’s site name.

Status

The device’s status. A standalone device’s status can be ACTIVE, RETURNED, or OBSOLETE. A served device’s status can be NORMAL, RETURNED, DROPPED, or EXPIRED.

Type

CLIENT for standalone devices, or SERVED_CLIENT for served devices.

User

The device user associated with the device.

Updates

The update activity is for a device. In the Devices grid view, the Updates column displays the Update Info with a link for that device, or No updates. Hovering over the Updates link triggers a pop-up that contains the update name, update ID, the status of the update and the date of the last activity.
