Exporting Device Information
You can download device-related information for your account. This allows you to review your devices’ usage and licensing details and to analyze device data offline or include it in reports. For example, you can quickly export a list of devices and their licenses to review how activation IDs and features are allocated, or to track borrowed licenses on served devices.
To export device information:
| 1. | Click Devices > Devices. The Devices page opens, listing the devices associated with your account. |
| 2. | On the Devices page, click Export Devices. |
| 3. | In the Export Devices dialog: |
| • | Choose the device type you want to include. You can select standalone devices, served devices, local license servers, or Cloud License Servers. |
| • | Select the status of devices to include: active or inactive. |
Note:The export functionality ignores any filter or search criteria you might have set on the Devices page. It will export data for the device types and status as selected in the Export Devices dialog.
| 4. | Click Export. FlexNet Operations generates an export file in CSV format containing the device information. When prompted by your browser, save the file to your computer. |
The exported file includes key information for the selected devices, such as device identifiers (name/ID and type), associated activation IDs and features on each device, and any borrowed licenses for served devices.
Note:You can only export device data that is accessible to your end-user account. The export will include only the devices and license details that you are permitted to view under your login.
