Clearing Field Values in Download Packages
The Download Packaging template enables you to clear values in bulk. To remove values from any string-accepting, non-mandatory columns in the template, simply enter "NULL" or "null" in the corresponding field. Upon import, these entries will result in blank fields, effectively clearing the original content.
To determine whether a column supports null string values, refer to the column’s note. Any column marked as accepting string input will also accept "NULL" or "null" to clear its value.
Important Behavior
| • | If a field is left empty or the column is omitted from the template, the existing value will be retained. |
| • | Only explicitly entered "NULL" or "null" will trigger value removal. |
