Predefined Custom License Attributes

The following section lists predefined custom license attributes. Predefined custom license attributes cannot be modified or have their status set to Inactive.

ALLOW_TERMINAL_SERVER	FlexNet Publisher	Sets the TS_OK flag in the license, allowing the use of a terminal server (remote desktop) client to checkout a nodelocked license
AUTO_PROVISION	FlexNet Publisher	Used by the license model to set wether a Cloud Licensing Service instance should be auto-provisioned
BORROW_HOURS	FlexNet Publisher	Set in the license model. If license is to be used on a machine that is intermittently connected to the license server, then enable borrowing of the license. Specify the maximum number of hours the license can be borrowed for.
CLIENT_FLEX_VERSION	FlexNet Publisher	License generator configuration. FlexNet Licensing version for compatibility with client application
CLIENT_REPAIR_COUNT	FlexNet Publisher	License model attribute. Enter the percentage for client repair count. Client repair percentage is applied to the number of copies that are activated. The count represents how many times a client can request repairs from the vendor daemon.
CRYPT_SIGN_COMPATIBILITY	FlexNet Publisher	License generator configuration attribute to set the compatibility level of the FlexNet Publisher license.
CRYPT_STRENGTH	FlexNet Publisher	License generator configuration attribute to set the signature strength of the FlexNet Publisher license.
DATED_VERSION_FORMAT	FlexNet Publisher	Lincese generator configuration attribute to set the format of date based versions.
DEFAULT_SERVER_PORT	FlexNet Publisher	Adds a port number to the SERVER line of the license file. This is set in the license generator configuration.
DUP_GROUP	FlexNet Publisher	Publisher-defined keyword. Used in increment lines to form license groups, also called license pools. For example, DUP_GROUP=UHD means the duplicate grouping is (DUP_USER\|DUP_HOST\|DUP_DISPLAY), so for a user on the same host and display, additional uses of a feature do not consume additional licenses.
ELASTIC	Dynamic Monetization	Indicates that the license model is to be used with Elastic Access line items.
FLOAT_OK	FlexNet Publisher	Publisher-defined keyword. Used in a license file to enable mobile licensing. Allows a dongle to be attached to a system where the license server runs and its license can float on the network.
GRACE_PERIOD	FlexNet Embedded	Allows use of a license even after the entitlement expiry. Set in the license model.
HOST_BASED	FlexNet Publisher	Publisher-defined keyword. Specifies that licenses can be used only by specific hosts.
INCLUDE_USE_SERVER	FlexNet Publisher	Adds the USE_SERVER keyword to the license file. This will transfer all check-out validations to the server. This setting might improve performance when a license server is used.
ISSUER	FlexNet Publisher	Publisher-defined keyword. Specifies the issues of a license.
LICENSE_KEY_COMPATIBILITY	FlexNet Publisher	License Generator configuration attribute. Include license key for pre-TRL compatibility
MAX_BORROW_INTERVAL	FlexNet Publisher	Maximum borrow interval of license requested from a server. Set in the license model.
MAX_TRANSFERS	FlexNet Publisher	License model attribute. Enter the number of times customers can transfer licenses to another server.
METERED	FlexNet Embedded	License model attribute to determine if the license should be metered.
NOTICE	FlexNet Publisher	Publisher-defined keyword. A field for intellectual property notices.
OVERDRAFT	FlexNet Publisher	Publisher-defined keyword. The overdraft policy allows a software publisher to specify a number of additional licenses which users are allowed to use, in addition to the licenses they have purchased.
OVERDRAFT_CEILING	FlexNet Publisher	If overdraft is available, this is the maximum amount of overdraft granted per license.
OVERDRAFT_FLOOR	FlexNet Publisher	If overdraft is available, this is the minimum amount of overdraft granted per license.
OVERDRAFT_MAX	FlexNet Publisher	Maximum number of users who can use a license when none are available.
PLATFORMS	FlexNet Publisher	Keyword in FEATURE and INCREMENT lines. Restricts usage to specified hardware platforms.
RATE_TABLE_SERIES	Dynamic Monetization	Indicates the rate table series for Elastic license models.
RENEW_INTERVAL	FlexNet Embedded	License model attribute to set, in the capability response, the period of time to renew a license
REUSABLE	FlexNet Embedded	License model attribute to set whether a metered license is reusable or not.
SERIAL_NUMBER	FlexNet Licensing	Publisher-defined keyword. SN=serial_num Serial number, used to identify FEATURE or INCREMENT lines.
SUPPRESS_ISSUED_DATE	FlexNet Publisher	License Generator configuration attribute. Suppress ISSUED date keyword in license text
SUPPRESS_START_DATE	FlexNet Publisher	License Generator Configuration attribute. Suppress START date keyword in license text
TRUSTED_HOST_ID	FlexNet Publisher	License Generator Configuration Attribute. Server host ID used for trusted activations (default: ID_STRING=TRUSTED)
UNDO_INTERVAL	FlexNet Embedded	Set in the license model. The value to use for the undo interval on metered features that are not reusable.
USABLE_WITH_BASE_OR_LINEITEM	FlexNet Embedded
USER_BASED	FlexNet Publisher	Publisher-defined keyword. Specifies that licenses can be used only by specific users.
VCG_GENERATOR_INDEX	FlexNet Publisher	License generator configuration attribute. Index to VCG generator function table (default is 0)
VCG_NAME	FlexNet Publisher	Name of the VCG executable
VCG_SEED_INDEX	FlexNet Publisher	License generator configuration attribute. Index to VCG crypt seed table (default is 0)
VCG_VERSION	FlexNet Publisher	License generator configuration attribute. Version of VCG used to generate licenses
VENDOR_NAME	FlexNet Publisher	Specifies the name of your vendor daemon.
VENDOR_STRING	FlexNet Publisher	Vendor keyword. Specifies publisher-defined custom license data
VM_PLATFORMS	FlexNet Publisher	Keyword in FEATURE and INCREMENT lines. Specifies whether feature usage should be restricted to virtual machines or restricted to physical machines.
