Listing Custom Attributes

The Producer Portal shows previously defined custom attributes on the Custom Attributes page.

Note:Custom host attributes and custom license attributes are managed separately. For details, see Managing Custom Host Attributes or Managing Custom License Attributes.

To list existing custom attributes

Click Administer > Custom Attributes.

The Producer Portal shows the Custom Attributes page. This page lists attributes with the following information:

Custom Attributes Information

Field

Description

Name

Name of the custom attribute

Data Type

Type of value the custom attribute accepts: Boolean, Date, Text (free form or single select), Multi-valued text, Long Text, or Date.

Required

Shows whether or not the attribute is required.

true for required attributes

•

false for optional attributes

Status

Shows whether the attribute is active or inactive.

Tip:By default, only active custom attributes are shown. To display both active and inactive attributes, click Show All.

Click an attribute name to view its details.

Click Add Attribute to add a custom attribute.
