Data Retention Policy

FlexNet Operations Analytics retains data for different periods based on the type of information. Current operational data is retained to support ongoing business processes and reporting, while historical transactional and usage data is retained for a limited period to support analytics and auditing requirements.

Current-State Entities

The following current-state entities are retained indefinitely and remain available in Analytics:

• Account
• User
• Product/Feature
• Entitlement/Line Item
• Fulfillment
• Device
• Served Device
• Custom Attributes
• Electronic Software Delivery Files
• Electronic Software Delivery Downloads

Transactional Data Entities

Historical transactional and usage data is retained for one year from the date it is collected:

• License Server Usage
• Transaction History
• Entitlement History
• Fulfillment History
• Device History
• Cloud Licensing Service (CLS) User Audit Data

Archived For 3 Years

Historical data is archived and available through alternate channels upon request.

Purge

Former-customer data is purged according to contractual terms.
