Verifying the Status of a Bulk Operation
On the Bulk Operations page, the Status column shows the current status of each bulk operation.
You can open a dialog to view the progress of mapping activation IDs from parents to children for the following upgrade bulk operations:
• | Operations that use auto-fulfill for embedded licenses |
• | Operations for FlexNet Publisher licenses, with or without auto-fulfill. |
To see the status of a bulk operation
1. | Click Entitlements > Bulk Operations. This link opens the Bulk Operations page. |
The Status column shows the status for each bulk operation.
2. | To see detailed status information for an upgrade bulk operations, click the linked value in the Status column. This opens a dialog, depending on the type of license: |
• | For upgrade bulk operations using auto-fulfill for embedded licenses, the Bulk Upgrade Status dialog is displayed. |
The Bulk Upgrade Status dialog shows the parent activation IDs, the child activation IDs that are generated by the batch upgrade operation, and—under Parent Device Count and Child Device Count—the number of devices that each activation ID is mapped to.
Note:The link only appears once the upgrade has started. The link is not available for bulk operations for embedded licenses in “Draft” status.
• | For upgrade bulk operations for FlexNet Publisher licenses, the Bulk Job Status dialog is displayed. |
The Bulk Job Status dialog displays the progress of mapping activation IDs from parent activation IDs to corresponding child activation IDs.
The following table outlines how the columns in the Bulk Job Status dialog will be populated based on the outcome of the bulk job and the auto-fulfill configuration.
