Setting Up Conditional Notifications Based on Data Changes
On the Conditional Notifications page (available from the Analytics menu), you can configure automated alerts based on conditions you define.
Conditional notifications help to drive business tracking and decisions by ensuring the relevant data is sent to you in a timely way. For example, decisions around customer renewals, or discussions with customer about their utilization of purchased products, can be informed by data that is sent to you in an automated way.
You can set up conditional notifications triggered either by specific events or on a schedule. Data which you choose to include is then published either to a webhook or sent to a specified email address. The section Example Walkthroughs for Conditional Notifications provides examples for different scenarios.
Conditional notifications track data changes in the FlexNet Operations Reporting Database, which is refreshed on a regular cycle (currently four hours). The conditions track this incoming data and send your notifications according to the rules you set up.
