Events Triggering Event Notifications
Producers can subscribe to the following types of events:
• | Entitlement and line items events—controlled by the entitlementSubscription parameter; set to yes or no. |
• | Product events—controlled by the productSubscription parameter; set to yes or no. |
• | Device events—controlled by the deviceSubscription parameter; set to yes or no. |
The parameters entitlementSubscription, productSubscription, and deviceSubscription are fields in the /notificationService endpoint. For more information, see Configuration Parameters for Event Notifications.
The following table lists the properties which trigger an event notification whenever any of these is changed through the Producer Portal. A notification is also triggered when an entitlement, product, or device is saved, even if no changes were made.
Note:Modifications made using web services will not trigger an event notification.
