Adding a Publisher and a Publisher Identity

In this exercise, you add publisher demo and publisher identity ABCNetworks.

To add the demo publisher

1.

Log in to the FlexNet Operations Producer Portal. The Producer Portal Home page appears.

2.

Click Administer > Publishers. The List Publishers page appears.

3.

Click Create Publisher. The Create A Publisher page appears.

4.

In the Publisher Name field, type demo

5.

In the Notes field, type FlexNet Embedded Demo Publisher.

6.

In the Publisher Keys fields, enter the publisher keys that were issued to you (demo/evaluation keys can be requested from your Revenera Sales representative), and then click Save. The Create Identity page appears with this message: The publisher was created successfully.

To add the ABCNetworks identity to the demo publisher

1.

On the Create Identity page, enter the publisher identity’s attributes:

•

Identity Name: Type ABCNetworks

•

Signature Algorithm: Select any algorithm

Note:The Custom IdentityBackOffice.bin field is not mandatory. For this exercise, leave it blank.

2.

Click Save. The List Identities page appears with publisher identity name ABCNetworks and the message The identity was created successfully.
