The License Lifecycle: Updates and Insights
The FlexNet Operations license lifecycle is a repeating process of producer and customer activities, as depicted in the figure and described below.

Deliver⁄Install—Deliver the application software to the customer and install that software. |

Return/Rehost—Manage license transfers from one user or system to another. |

Maintain/Update—Deliver software updates to the customer. |

Upsell/Renew—Renew customer licenses, or sell the customer additional product functionality. |
