Assigning Users to Accounts Post Sync
If you selected the option Use the locked account on the Configure User Synchronization page for either of the portals, the Approve User Access page (available from the Administer menu) will list all users linked to the default account (IDP_SYNC_DEFAULT_PRODUCER for the Producer Portal and IDP_SYNC_DEFAULT_CUSTOMER for the End-User Portal). The tabbed interface groups users into customer users and producer users. Here you can manually associate synchronized users with specific accounts and assign appropriate roles.
Note:Users assigned to a locked account will be listed on the Approve User Access page until they are assigned a new account.
To assign users to accounts in FlexNet Operations

Click Administer > Approve User Access. The Approve User Access page is displayed. |

Click the tab for the user type that you want to assign to an account—Customer User or Producer User. |

You can assign one or more accounts to individual users via the Assign Account hyperlink. To assign accounts to multiple users simultaneously, select the relevant check boxes and click the Assign Account button above the table. The Associate Users to Accounts and Roles window is displayed. |

Use the search functionality above the table to filter for specific accounts. To assign an account, click the Roles dropdown for the account and select one or more roles. |
Tip:Start typing text in the Roles field to quickly find roles that begin with the entered text.

Optionally, in the Expiry Date column, specify an expiry date for the user(s) for a particular account. |
The users who have been assigned to one or more accounts are automatically removed from the relevant tab of the Approve User Access page.
