Creating a Publisher Identity
Note:This topic describes how you create a publisher identity in the Producer Portal. If you already created a publisher identity using FlexNet Embedded’s Publisher Identity utility (pubidutil) and want to upload the back-office identity file, follow the instructions in Uploading an Externally-Created Identity.
You can add identities from the Administer menu in the Producer Portal.
To create a publisher identity

Click Administer > Identities. The Producer Portal opens the List Identities page. |

On the List Identities page, click Create Identity. The Producer Portal opens the Create Identity page. |
|
3.
|
In Publisher Name, enter the name of the publisher that you created previously (see Creating a Publisher). |
|
4.

In Identity Name, enter the name for the new identity that you are creating. |
|
5.
|
In Notes, optionally enter a description of the publisher identity. |
|
6.
|
In Signature Algorithm, select an algorithm and signature strength combination that will be used to generate digital signatures. |
