Editing a Role
Roles are either system-defined or user-defined. System-defined roles cannot be edited; users assigned a role with the View and Manage Roles permission can view, add, and edit user-defined roles.
To edit an existing role
1. | Click Accounts & users > All Roles. |
2. | In the Roles table, click a role name to view the Edit Role page. |
3. | Edit the values of any of the editable fields. At least one permission must be assigned to a role. |
Note:The following characters are not allowed in the Name and Description fields.

Important:Changing the role type is only allowed if the role whose type is being changed is not currently assigned to a user.
4. | Click Save to save your changes to the role. |
