Importing a Digital Certificate for Cloud Licensing Service Instances
A user must be assigned a role with the View and Manage Configurations permission to upload a digital certificate (.DER file).
You can configure a default .DER public key in the Producer Portal. This key will be automatically applied to all newly created Cloud Licensing Service (CLS) instances. This means that you no longer need to manually upload the public key (.DER) file to each of your CLS instances, saving time and effort.
Important:Once a .DER file has been uploaded via the Import tab, it cannot be overwritten using the existing import_access_key REST API endpoint of the Cloud Licensing Service Module. Also, there is currently no option to view or delete an uploaded .DER file. However, you can upload a new .DER file, which will replace the existing one.
To upload a default public key
1. | Click System > Configure. |
2. | Click Import to open the Import page. |
3. | Under Upload A .DER Digital Certificate, click Choose file and select a digital certificate for upload. The file must be in .DER format. |
4. | Click Import Default Public Key. FlexNet Operations will validate the uploaded .DER file to confirm it is in the correct format. |
