Understanding Data Freshness

This section describes how you can determine the freshness of the data that is available for analysis.

The Analytics Dashboard and each report shows two dates on the right side: Data As Of and Data Last Updated.

Data As Of—This is the earliest date from which data is available for analysis.

This date is only relevant for customers who previously used an instance of FlexNet Operations that was hosted in Revenera’s own data center, and who only recently moved to an AWS instance (which uses the Snowflake data warehouse). For these customers, only recent data is currently available for data analysis. Data will be backfilled over time.

Data Last Updated—This is the date and time when any data used in a chart on a dashboard was last updated in the data warehouse.

Note:Data is pulled from the Snowflake data warehouse, which is updated on a regular cycle (currently every four hours). For more information on the data flow and refresh cycles, see the next section, Setting Up Conditional Notifications Based on Data Changes.

Both dates are in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).
