Adding a Filter

To to add a filter:

Do one of the following:

Open the Filters bar on the right to display the Filter panel. In the Filter panel, click the Add Filter button.

For filters added using the Filter panel, you can select whether the filter applies to all dashboards (Global filter) or only the current dashboard (Dashboard filter).

Click the Filters icon directly above a chart or table.

Filters added using the Filters icon above a chart or table will have the Panel scope (see also Filter Hierarchy).

All filters that you add will appear in the Filter panel and the filter list in the chart.
