Generating the FlexNet Code Aware Report

InstallAnywhere 2021

The FlexNet Code Aware report provides information about the security vulnerabilities in your codebase, the amount of open source code that it includes, and its exposure to licensing issues. In this report, you can drill down to view details on individual files in your source code.

To generate the FlexNet Code Aware report:

1.

Perform a scan of your InstallAnywhere project, as described in Scanning an InstallAnywhere Project.

2.

On the Results Summary panel that is displayed when the scan is complete, click the View Report button. The Initial Summary view of the FlexNet Code Aware report opens in a browser window.

3.

Review the details displayed on the Initial Summary view, as described in Reviewing the Initial Summary View of the FlexNet Code Aware Report.

4.

To review details on packages in your InstallAnywhere project, click View full package inventory in the Scan Summary section of the Initial Summary view of the report. The Package Inventory view of the report opens.

5.

Review the details displayed on the Package Inventory view, as described in Reviewing the Package Inventory View of the FlexNet Code Aware Report.

Note:FlexNet Code Aware overwrites the report file each time it performs a scan. To preserve the report, copy the following file to another directory:

[InstallAnywhere Installation Directory]/FlexNetCodeAware/FNCAReport.html
