Download and Licensing Instructions Home

Code Insight downloads are available in the Revenera Product and License Center. Below are instructions for obtaining the Code Insight installers, documentation, and license files.

Downloading the Code Insight Installers and Documentation

To download the Code Insight installers and documentation:

  1. Log in to the Revenera Community, and click Code Insight on the Community home page.

    NOTE: If you do not have an account in the Flexera Community, see Accessing the Revenera Product and License Center for instructions.

  2. On the Code Insight page, click Downloads (PLC). The Product and License Center page of the Community opens.
  3. Click the Let's Go button under the list containing Code Insight. The Product and License Center opens.
  4. Click FlexNet Code Insight in the Your Downloads section to open the Download Packages page.
  5. Click on the link of the version of the product you want to download. Files for that version are listed.
  6. Click the file name link(s) to download files.

Procedures for installing Code Insight are available in Chapter 2 of the Code Insight Quick Start Guide. This document is available in the Revenera Product and License Center and on the Revenera Documentation Site.

Obtaining and Activating a Code Insight License File

To obtain and activate a Code Insight license file:

  1. Log in to the Revenera Community, and click Code Insight on the Community home page.

    NOTE: If you do not have an account in the Flexera Community, see Accessing the Revenera Product and License Center for instructions.

  2. On the Code Insight page, click Downloads (PLC). The Product and License Center page of the Community opens.
  3. Click the Let's Go button under the list containing Code Insight. The Product and License Center opens.
  4. Select License Management > List Licenses from the menu.
  5. Select the checkbox next to the license you want to obtain.
  6. Click the View button, then click Save to File. Save your license without modifying the name of the license file.
  7. Prior to starting Code Insight for the first time, you need to copy this license file to the root directory of your installation.
