Modifying a Previously Saved Advanced Search for SBOM Parts

Use the following procedure to update the criteria as needed for a previously saved advanced search of SBOM parts. You can then save and run the updated search or run the updated search without saving the changes so that the original search criteria is maintained.

Note:Only the creator of the selected search can perform this procedure. A user who is not the creator of the search can modify the search’s criteria but must save the changes to a new search, as mentioned below (and described in more detail in Saving and Performing a New Advanced Search for Inventory Parts).

To modify a saved search:

Access the Advanced SBOM Parts Search window, using the instructions in Accessing the “Advanced SBOM Parts Search” Window.

From the Select a Saved Search dropdown on the Advanced SBOM Part Search window, select the search whose criteria you want to modify. The criteria for the selected search populates the fields.

Modify the criteria as needed. See Criteria Fields for an Advanced SBOM Parts Search for a description of each field.

4.

Do one of the following:

Select Search to perform the updated search (without saving the changes so that the original criteria is maintained).

•

Select Save & Search to save the changes and perform the search.

The Manage SBOM Parts page is automatically refreshed to show search results based on the criteria changes.

Note:If you are not the creator of the search, you are asked to provide a new name in the Name field before you can save and perform the search.
