Editing a Group

If a directory service domain is configured in FlexNet Operations, groups can be imported from the directory service and assigned roles. Membership in a group is managed entirely through a directory service, therefore, a user entered manually through FlexNet Operations cannot be made a member of a group.

Users assigned a role with the View and Manage Users permission can view, add, and edit groups.

To edit an existing group

1. Click Administer > Browse Groups.
2. In the Groups table, click a group name to view the Edit Group page.
3. Edit the roles or change the status. At least one role must be assigned. The group name is never editable.
4. Click Save to save your changes to the group.
