Renewals
Producers that issue subscription licenses or perpetual licenses with expiring maintenance typically create additional line items for their existing customers to extend the duration of the customer’s license. When these renewal line items are created, a producer specifies the relationship between the initial subscription or maintenance. Customers can then activate the renewal line item when their existing line item is due to expire.
The FlexNet Customer Growth module brings greater visibility to expiring entitlements and renewals. With this module, the End-User Portal includes a new Expiring Entitlements page on which the customer’s entitlements are listed by their expiration date with special emphasis on those that are expired or soon to expire. In addition, the FlexNet Customer Growth module helps producers automate messaging about expiring entitlements to their customers who subscribe to receive renewal reminders.
Separate jobs automate messaging for expiring entitlements and expired entitlements, and producers can customize the content and frequency of the automated messaging.
