Notifying End Users About Expired Entitlements
This section walks through the process of configuring FlexNet Operations to send renewal reminders to end users who have expired entitlements. In these exercises, you use the account, user, product, and entitlement created in the early exercises of the section Getting Started with Entitlement Management, and add expired line items to see how the job operates.
Remember to check the prerequisites in the Introduction before starting these exercises. See Exercise Prerequisites.

Viewing the Expiring Entitlements Page and Receiving Renewal Notifications |
To understand what is sent to the end user, this exercise uses an end-user account to see entitlements that have passed their expiration dates on the Expiring Entitlements page, see the emailed renewal reminder about those entitlements, and send a request to renew selected entitlements to the producer. |
Discusses additional concepts related to sending expired entitlement messages—such as viewing sent emails in the Producer Portal, customizing email templates, and configuring jobs schedules and subscriptions—and where to find more information about them. |
