Validating Download Packages

Before a download, packages are validated. You can only download validated packages. The validation checks the following:

•

whether you are entitled to the download package or file

•

whether you have accepted the license agreement, if applicable

•

whether any export compliance restrictions apply

If you try to download several download packages at once, and one of the download packages fails validation, the entire download fails. After the validation, icons next to the download package ID indicate the result of the validation.

If the validation fails, the Download Packages page shows a validation error message. Click the review and resolve link in this message to see the failed packages. Correct the validation errors to validate the download package. This might be, for example, that you need to accept the license agreement. If you do not want to download a particular download package, click the X in the De-select column.
