Reports
The Analytics dashboard and reports—available from the Analytics menu—provide a visual representation of the most important FlexNet Operations entities related to your customer accounts and their entitlement usage. The dashboard and reports are designed to help stakeholders from a wide range of areas—from Renewals Management, Customer Success Management and Support to Product Management—identify trends.

Extending and Customizing Reports
In each report, you can click data points or chart elements (for example, a bar in a bar chart) to filter data, or you can drill through to display a more detailed view of the data. For more information, see Cross-Filtering and Cross-Highlighting of Visuals in a Report.
Use the menu items in the area at the top of every reports page to customize the data displayed by the report. Click the Summary buttons on the right to open “Details” tables which list the equivalent field names that are used by the FlexNet Operations Data Access APIs to extract data from the data warehouse. For more information, see Displaying Summary Tables for Reports.
Customers who want to extend the reporting capabilities offered by the Analytics reports can use the FlexNet Operations Data Access APIs to do so.
To see a diagram that indicates the relationships between the various entities that are returned by the FlexNet Operations Data Access API, refer to the Data Access API Entity Relationship Diagram and Field Descriptions.
Saving, Downloading, and Subscribing to Reports
The reports available from Analytics > Reports—also referred to as out-of-the-box reports, in contrast to custom reports—are read-only and cannot be edited. While these reports cannot be edited directly, they support several actions that allow you to reuse, export, and distribute report data.
Save As (Create a Custom Report)
Out-of-the-box reports are read-only. To customize a report, click Save As and enter a new name. This creates a copy of the report and converts it into a custom report.
The saved report appears under Analytics > Custom Reports, where it can be revisited, edited, and refined over time. For more information, see Custom Reports.
Download Reports
You can download reports to use outside FlexNet Operations. Reports can be exported as print-ready visuals or as raw data for further analysis in external tools such as Excel. For more information, see Managing Downloads.
Subscribe to Reports
You can subscribe to reports to receive them automatically at specified intervals. When a report is subscribed to, FlexNet Operations exports the report and sends a download link to one or more specified email addresses. For more information, see Managing Subscriptions.
